Jade

This is our Jade plant. It is so big now. It is happily growing by the bay window. Commonly known as jade plant, friendship tree or Money Plant, Crassula ovata is a succulent plant that sometimes has small pink or white flowers and is common as a houseplant worldwide. Although I have not seen our jade plant flower yet. It must be a different kind than the common one.

That's a nice, big specimen. I've tried for years to grow jade plants, to no avail. I think it's too hot. One thing that does well here that's part of the Crassula family is Elephant Food or Portulacaria afra. Happy GTS,

that's a nice, healthy plant! for years i've despaired of not being able to grow anything, but lately i've had this plant for a couple of years and it seems to be thriving still. it does bring a sense of peace no?

i love the pot and the lantern too!
